A tampon soaked for at least one hour in the yogurt should be inserted into the vagina overnight over the course of three to four nights to help remove the infection. A douche made of the vinegar and water will help to provide the same effect but the two remedies should not be used simultaneously. A homemade yeast cure can mean the difference between fixing the problem naturally and repeated visits to the drug store for expensive prescriptions.
